SLRC(Srilanka robotics challenge)2018

Robotics has grabbed the key interest of the local and internationally community for a number of years with its innovative concepts. Ameliorating the high thinking power and the strategic problem solving & designing, E-club alongside with the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering  of University of Moratuwa staged Sri Lanka Robotic Challenge (SLRC) each year for six consecutive times.

Sri Lankan Robotics Challenge has become one of the most awaited events in the technology calendar of technology enthusiasts of Sri Lanka and has gained the interest from island-wide to the international community. The competition takes place under two categories; SLRC School Category Competition and SLRC University Category Competition.

We are currently working on the robot that we hope to compete in this competition. Here are some pictures of the progress. The competition consists of series of tasks which we have to detect a small coin then grab it, detect colour, follow a line maze, then to follow a dashed line and finally to unload the coins in a specific area.
